I went down to the springs this weekend,meet up with John and did some real bouldering. we went down to a place called Ute Valley that has some pretty freakin awesome problems. one of the guys climbing there knew the place really well, and showed us this route that was v7/8ish. he called it three commitments (three big as moves), and thought it had only seen one ascent. We set up bunches of pads, he sent it first go (projected it before), his friend tried, fell, i tried, and fell rolling a good 15 feet. Friend #1 tried again and got it. i worked it a coupple more times and got my tips o my digits millimeters from the final hold. DAmn IT!!

Doodle for Google

my teacher saw that i was good with photoshop and recommended i do a doodle for google thing. its sorta stupid but here it is. i just took a bunch of climbing vectors, put them in, and messed with the color scheming. its oh so exciting.
